To kick things off...

Hey! Thanks for dropping by. I'm very excited to share my thoughts and insights on all the books I read. I've always had a love for reading but there had been a brief pause on consuming books because, you know, life happens. It wasn't until recently (within the past couple years) that I've found my way back to taking time to sit and read.

I think somewhere during quarantine I saw a tiktok that said something along the lines of....to be considered a library you have to have a minimum of 1000 books. Thoughts that immediately ran through my brain, pretty much in this order.........HOW FREAKING COOL IS THAT!...What if I could have that in my own home!....I wonder how many books I currently have?....Maybe I could build a custom bookcase with a library ladder like in the movie Beauty and the Beast! - #goals!

Well, a couple things happened after that....the hubby but the kibosh on the custom library, and has tolerated my book buying habit pretty well. I also realized I don't have any near the room you would need for that many books. ((Sigh)) Maybe one day.....when my kids are grown and out of the house.

Anywho, once I found myself in the throws of tiktok, I wound up on Booktok. So many good books were being suggested that I figured I'd treat myself to some books and purchased a kindle. And just like that I was back into reading....even more so than I had been before.

Bringing things back to the present day, here we are with my book blog. Recently I've also become an ARC (Advanced Reader Copy) reviewer, which means that authors give me access to their book before it comes out to the general public, and in exchange I write an honest review on various social platforms.

I'm so excited to be sharing my reading adventure with all of you.

I'm not claiming to be the best writer, but I will give my honest thoughts about a book, in a way that is relatable and that you find entertaining, so you get "hooked" and keeping coming back for more. There's no real formula I'm sticking to when it comes to posting. When I finish a book, my goal is to get the review up soon after.
